We are not likely to be able to keep up with this trend: Proper nouns being turned into verbs.

The Kohl’s one is actually correct because the name of the store is Kohl’s with an apostrophe.
It’s not a proper noun being turned into a verb
it’s a possessive being turned into a verb.
